i have a crush on this guy for quite a while now, i only see him at the club where we both go occasionally, the thing is, he keeps staring and looking at me, maybe he likes me, but he never really said anything, even my friends noticed that he gives me those looks..(God i like him!!) and there's no way i could go talk coz simply there's nothing common between both of us.. any ideas?

Why would you think you have nothing in common? You both go to the same club so that is, at least, something. I would certainly go up to him when it's crowded (so no one is really paying attention) and ask about getting him a drink. I don't drink so I just would go up and ask names. Invite him to dance with you. Men always get flattered by that.

For one if you like the guy it dont matter if there is any thing in common in between you or not! Thats not what loving relationships are built on. I just getting at if you really like the guy most guys are more shy than girls really trust me on this one i am a guy! If you cant make the first move get one of your freinds to pass your phone number even to the guy. I mean do something befor you take a chance of loosing him he could be your mister right!
