Most people know when they have met someone that they want to be monogamous with and it doesn't take that long. You might want to actually let your feelings be known before the other gets used to the situation and doesn't want to be monogamous at all. I say 2 months is the longest.

Thanks for your comments on my question, about your question. I never cheat on my partner in a relationship. When I start a relationship, I tell the person whom I'm starting it with that this is a monogamous relationship, and if they abuse the relationship in anyway, then I will personally higher men to *** **** them for as long as I see fit, or I'll fight them. And, just cause I'm a girl, I fight like a boy.

when you feel that you two have a lot of common, you two click real well, you know connect and really enjoy each other and like each other a whole lot.When you feel he's into you as much as you are into him then ask him if how he would feel only dating you;-) so just feel things out and it should have a positive result:-)good luck
