Romans 5:12 says, "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."
The Bible shows that we are born with inherited sin and that death is a consequence of that. The question then is when and how does Jesus' sacrifice apply in taking away our sin?
The fact that Jesus died in behalf of our sins does not stop us from sinning. 1 John 2:1, 2 says, "“If anyone does commit a sin, we have a helper with the Father, Jesus Christ, a righteous one. And he is a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins.”
We should not take a casual view of sin. But if we err, we can pour our hearts out to God confident that he is ready to forgive. Thus the ransom enables us to serve God with a clean conscience and makes it possible for us to approach him in prayer through the name of Jesus Christ.
Christ’s ransom also opens the way for the fulfillment of God’s purpose—that obedient humans live forever in Paradise on earth when inherited sin will be taken out of the picture all together. The Kingdom that Jesus Christ taught us to pray for will destroy this sin-filled world and ultimately bring an end to inherited sin itself. 1 Cor. 15:25, 26 says: “He must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet. As the last enemy, death is to be destroyed.” Since the effect of sin is death, death’s destruction means the end of sin.

Because we are descended from Adam and Eve, we have 'inherited' sin.
Adam and Eve's sin resulted in them eventually dying.
And since then, all their descendants, us, have died,
But death was not in God's original plan. And Jesus' sacrifice has paid [ the ransom] to get back for us the opportunity to again live without death [ Rev. 21;4]
This benefit will occur AFTER Armageddon.
And those who survive will live without death and sickness ON THE EARTH.
Psalm 37; 9.11.29.34

because we are human, and all humans will sin.
I'm not much for this original sin concept, but whether that's true or not we get around to sinning soon enough.
Jesus gave His life so that our sins could be forgiven. We need to ask for forgiveness.

Because to receive Christ is a gift. You must accept it. we are born in sin through Adam's failure to obey God. But through Christ, we are born again by accepting His gift of life.
