I won a lawsuit against someone for an unpaid loan and I need to locate their whereabouts (residence, place of employment, properties). I have the person's social security number, age, date of birth, full name and physical description. Who/ What would be a good resource?

Because of the Privacy Laws....the Social Security Administration is prohibited from cooperating with law enforcement and civil authorities when it comes to social security numbers.

There are other ways to find people besides using SS numbers.
For starters try this:

The best way to find that person is to hire a private investigator. Once you locate them, inform the proper authorities. The government does not have the resources to do this for every person that needs it. So you have to do this yourself.

Go to the court. File papers for delinquent payment. If the file for bankruptcy they may be able to get out of having to pay you. If it is a large sum of money look into a private investigator if it is that hard to find them. The police will not do anything until the court sends out a warrant for failure to follow the courts order.

try Yahoo people search. If it can't find them, then it refers you to a sight that may charge a few dollars, but will probably locate them especially with all the info you have.

The clerk of courts. Or the police.

Good luck!
