Ingredient List
Blender, bananas, buy frozen strawberries, they have way more flavor than fresh funny enough, and honey. From a flavor component you can buy a tub of strawberry yogurt or if its for a dietary reason stick to plain yogi
Put the fruit in the blender and puree away. Add the honey and begin to add the yogurt depending on how much you want. If the smoothie is to thick add some milk and enjoy.

Be creative.....Use a blender for sure. Add a big handful of ice and one item from each group below. The cool thing about smoothies is that you don't have to be perfect in any measurements.

3/4 cup milk, small container of yogurt, 2/3 cup cottage cheese, 2/3 cup vanilla ice cream, 3/4 cup soy milk or rice milk or any milk really or 1/2 cup powdered milk. You can even use evaporated milk...1/2 a can. ***USE JUST ONE OF THESE

handful of fresh strawberries with the green tops cut off, handful of frozen strawberries, few squirts of strawberry syrup (in a pinch) ***USE JUST ONE OF THESE

A whole fresh banana--no skin. Can be greenish, old and brown, just right. Or use chunks of frozen banana that you pre-froze.

Mix in a blender...add a little OJ or some water depending on how thick you like it.

I like to add protein powder, one or two prunes, some cinnamon at times. Mmm.

I make a vanilla ice cream flavored fruit smoothie as part of my weight loss plan that I am on and drink it twice a day. One in the morning and one in the evening and sometimes I add a third late in the evening if I get that snack twinge ... You can buy the powder on-line at the below link. I mix 1 cup (8 oz) of skim milk, one scoop of the powder, add 5-6 frozen strawberries (for you add a fresh banana or your frozen fruit of choice ~ throw in an ice cube as an option if you want) blend it up and consume. It is thick, smooth, tasty, and very satisfying and it's also very healthy, full of vitamins and nutrients and the mix itself only contains 16 calories

Smoothies can be dairy-free, and therefore healthier and enjoyable by the lactose intolerant. Here's how:

Ingredients:
A blender. strawberry puree, banana, and ice.. (fruit juice optional)

1. Fill the container you intend to use when done with ice, this will give you an accurate measure of how much ice to use in the blender.

2. Put in a half banana for each 16 oz. glass you intend to make, or 1 banana for each quart (most domestic blenders make up to one quart at a time)

3. Pour in 1 cup of strawberry puree for each 16 oz. glass you intend to make, or 1 pint for each quart. If you plan to use fruit juice, you can lower this amount significantly.

4. Carefully add the ice you measured in step 1 and blend. If you opt to use fruit juice, add this AFTER pouring in the ice. The amount of juice could be anything from a splash to 4 oz. per glass or 8 oz per quart, depending on how thin you want your smoothie to be.
