Trinidad and Tobago?
Can anyone advise where is a good place to meet people in Trinidad and Tobago. I just moved back after 5 years, and I am like a fish out of water. Since all my friends are married they only lime with other married couples. I need to meet some single people. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing you're about 30 - do you party? Mature crowds hang out at Zen, 51 degrees...
But to strike up conversations - how about joining the gym, going to afterwork limes with work collegues..that sort of thing. A couple of my best friends had a heck of a time when the first moved back after being in the states for ages, and were re-introduced when they took classes (try Alliance Francais or something) or hung out with friends after work. The majority of my relatives are from Trinidad and Tobago, single and have no problem meeting people. You just have to get out and mingle.
