Dad and dad's new girlfriend need to get a grip on the fact that they are first and foremost... PARENTS... and then smoochie-smoochies for each other.... PERIOD.
I'd be keeping a record at this point, including pictures of the bruise he received while in Dad's care. Negligence could certainly get Dad supervised visitation only or some such...
No idiot leaves a four year old alone to be supervised by two other children still young enough to play in those places! Unless the "two older boys" were old enough to qualify as babysitters... like 14 and 16 or something... and were instructed to supervise the child... then the adults were negligent.
Yes, kids get bruises and yes, he might have had the same tumble if they were right there watching BUT WE'LL NEVER KNOW BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T so it's a moot point.
Sorry to be *shouting* in all caps, but the situation is just... well... I guess I'm seeing your side of it that he's off sucking face in a corner with a cup of coffee in one hand and some other woman in the other hand while the child YOU created together is falling on his head down some monstrous slide and he's busy stirring creamer into some java... just chillin'....
argh....
Sorry. That wasn't very informative - lol
I would ask at the playplace... and then make notes of the event, including pictures if possible... and then give Dad a major piece of my mind. That's just me. And it can BE me too if you just say the word, sister! :)
Best to you...

Kids play rough.. sounds like it was just part of the game.
Generally play areas like this are from a certain age up, not certain ages for certain slides or areas. You can call the actual facility and ask what their age requirements are, but generally they wave all responsibility for injuries that are not related to a malfunction of the equipment.
Theres going to be many times in his life when playing with other kids, and playing hard like kids do, that he will get bruised and bumped. Its part of growing up, and you cannot keep it from happening every time.
However, if for some reason he is below the requirements for the facility then not only the facility but his gfather would be at fault.

Those places usually have age and/or height requirements. Check the website again, it may be listed there. A lot of them also have "play at your own risk" policies or have something to sign when you enter the facility saying that you will not seek legal action if you child were to get hurt while playing. Do a little more investigating. Chances are your argument will be with dad and dad's girlfriend, not the play center.

I used to work in a place that sounds quite a lot like what you are talking about, the thing is that there is a height restriction banning children over a certain height but not under. It is usually based on the parents choice. In these sort of places, parents are supposed to be watching the children and are told this before they enter

i comprehend precisely what you're speaking about. the first Referee noted as an lower than violation on Ryan Millar. that's because as he replaced into coming down from blockading he landed on Serbia's area of the web. generally, this isn't noted as till a participant lower than the web interferes with the fighters ability to make a play. because it replaced right into a stuff block, the first referee seen it a contravention because the ball went instantly down on Serbia's area. when you consider that Millar replaced into there, it made it complicated for the Serbian crew to make a play, supposedly. i imagine Ryan Millar replaced into close, yet no longer over the line. the first referee made some undesirable calls, yet none of them somewhat affected the adventure. i wish that permits. It replaced right into a purely right adventure to video exhibit. the most heart-pounding between the entire Olympics yet.

Are you sure you're not just looking for something to beat his dad up about???? Accidents happen, are you certain you're not over-reacting? I don't know how often children end up visiting A&E, some more than others I expect, but I would say that grazes and bruises are part of growing up.

Don't know the height restrictions for slides, but I do know that parents are meant to be responsible for their own child's safety in those places, so I think your son's dad made a mistake, sorry!

unfortunately all these places give you is age and height restrictions, they will also claim they are not responsible for loss or injury to anyone who uses the equipment. i think if your looking to place blame then it should be on the boys father, he was responsible for him not 2 older children. count your blessings its just a bruise and nothing more. have a good christmas xx

umm, at all the indoor play centers that i have taken my 4 kids to over the years, it clearly states that adult supervision is required. never should kids be in charge of kids. his dad is a dope. take out your ire on him for being the irresponsible one. visitation is not date time with the gf!

you don't say when it happened, if today then be aware that concussion can take several hours to show - I don't know much but if swollen then not the swelling can go inside - if relevant check symptoms on the internet
