Ladies - how important is height when it comes to dating guys?

Height has never been an issue for me. Most all the guys I've dated were my heght or shorter. All the guys my sister dated were shorter and both of her husbands were shorter. So I'd say that unless the girl is really shallow that height is not an issue. By the way my husband is 3 inches shorter than me.

Im 5'8 and so is my boyfriend, its really not a problem. Its important to some women but I go for the total package (looks, personality and how well he treats me) and height is a small part of that. (I dont know if the guy could be 5'4, while I am 5'8 though!) I would say *most* women go for the "my height or taller" theory.

No, to me height does not matter, its if you LOVE that person. A few guys I have dated have even been shorter then me. I mean it crossed my mind before I said yes to them that they were, but once I was with them nothing mattered but love. The guy I'm dating now, and am engaged to marry is about 5'10 and I am 5'7. Tall guys don't mean anything differant then short ones. Find yourself a true woman. One who is not shallow for appearance.

I'm 5'6" and I find that men are the ones who have issues with height. I wear stiletos all the time and everyone thinks I'm super tall (I live in a shorter city, it seems) I've dated men my height and never had a problem. 5'9" is great for a guy. I've always envied the girls who are 5'3" and shorter. They can wear the highest heels and never have a problem.

All the men if my family are between 5'8 and 5'10, so you'd fit right in in my family! LOL I like taller men, but for me that IS 5'9 or so.. I'm only 5'2 myself. Most women like average men in both weight and height.. it shouldn't be a problem as long as it isn't for YOU! :)

I personally prefer my guy to be at least 6"...too me, its a security thing. I am not really into short guys. However, 5'9-5'10 would qualify for me too though.

I'd prefer to date someone taller, but it's not a necessity.

My husband and I are the same height 5'9", and that's cool with me.
It bugs him though when I wear heels and I hover over him, but it really doesn't bother me.

I like my man tall, and I'm 5'3" so 5'9"-5'10" is actually a good height for me. I guess it all depends on how tall you are.

well I'm 5'3" , an I will never date a guy Shorter than Me again. for me Guys need to be atleast 5'7" + ..

It's nothing personal , but i dated 1 guy was My Height exactually , I could not wear heals to my Senior Prom cause it would have looked funny !!! An i dated a guy 5'0" even. That was just crazy , i dont like being able to look over my guys head.
