pick up lines are really corny...i think the best thing to do is make her laugh. that usually breaks the ice and takes away any uncomfortable feelings

you should just walk up to the girl and start talking to her, ask her to dance. Something like that.

pick up lines are useless and do not work. its all about the approach, the attitude, and the confidence. What you actually say means almost nothing.

Just go up and introduce yourself...maybe pay her a compliment. (Something like "You have the prettiest smile I've ever seen"....not something dumbass.)
Always amazes me that there are so many blithering losers out there who think that if they go up a pretty girl and say "You sure must be tired, because you've been running through my mind all evening" that she's gonna giggle and think..."Wow...I've got screw that guy".
