Take off the nameplate and replace it with one that says "Mercedes" :)

Just kidding.

Seriously, make sure it is clean and in as tip top shape as you can.

Unfortunately as a Kia, there's not much you are going to be able to do to raise the resale....its so low to begin with.

If you need God ideas you will have to ask Him.

If you only need good ideas, maybe I can help you.

Detail it yourself or have it detailed so it looks excellent. Make sure to use Armor all on the tires an all plastic and leather inside. You can actually soak the mats in the bath tub and scrub them, then hang them up on a pants hanger to drip dry after rinsing.

Our car wash will do an overall job (not detailing) but wash, vacuum, armor all, for around $30.00. It always looks great.

If there are damages that are simple and inexpensive to repair, take care of it. Make sure all of the fluids are full and it has had a recent oil change.

If possible have the engine steam cleaned. Make it look the way you would want if you were going to buy it.

Get on NADA on the Internet and input all the proper info in the proper location and find out what it is worth. This way you will know how much to expect for it. Figure if you spend $100.00 making it look and sound good you should get it back in terms of at least 100 more on the trade in.

Good Luck.
