I am assuming by your name & avatar, that you also are a guy (you did not say), which makes the question kind of odd. I think around other guys, you should be free to wear what you want. & depending on what type of person they are be carefull. If they are very conservative, I would not do the nude thing. But anyway:

1. jeans, shorts, t-shirt, socks & shoes-optional
2. a) if you sleep in different rooms: who cares? go for it! Only execption is if you share a bathroom & you have to go in the middle of the night, put something on!
b) same room: pj pants, t-shirt (could be optional depending on him & you), boxers, sweats
3. what you slept in, or a bathrobe. Of course if you were buff to sleep, rethink it & put something on.
4. shorts, sweats, t-shirt--I mean you are working out!
5. never bare foot or flip flops! or you could end up with 9 1/2 toes.

In each instance where shorts are involved-- please wear some underwear! Nothing worse than catching an accidental glimpse!

Are you really trying to ask, "How little can I get away with wearing around my roommate?"

My personal feeling on this is that you would wear whatever you would wear around someone who isn't your family. In my case, that's pretty covered up for just about all of these activities.

As far as in bed, I think that's up to you, because you're in your private bedroom and under the covers.

Ok, if you're str8...then wear regular jeans and t-shirt to chill on the couch...unless it's summer, then board shorts and a t-shirt.

To bed...anytyhing...IT"S YOUR BED.

Getting coffee in the morning, boxers and a ROBE (closed)

Mowing the yard...be nice to the neighbor lady and wear jeans and no shirt!

It really doesn't matter if you are with a roommate or your parents. It's good to be as you would be with your parents.
That way you will not get into any kinda trouble.

i dont think what you wear is as important as how comfortable you both are. If he is going to be your room mate, maybe you should discuss the dress code with him.
