It doesn't matter if he ever said them to his gf or not...if he's saying inappropriately affectionate or sexual things to another woman, when he's "attached" to someone else, then yes...it is a form of cheating...

Yes. Emotional cheating is just as harmful to a relationship as physical cheating.

There are no set rules on what is considered cheating. Everybody has to make their own definitions. I would be hurt, I know that for sure. Discuss it with your partner. Find out why he's having the e-mail conversations.

I would think that would be a form of cheating....if he cannot say this to his current girlfriend and he says things to others in email it will eventually get personal in person. Cut him off now.

There is such a thing as emotional cheating, and that is a perfect example. It's very painful. If you're going through this, I suggest you kick him to the curb to save yourself a lot more pain in the future.

No. Nothing online is cheating. Even cybersex is NOT cheating. Phone sex is NOT cheating.

Here's my question. Is it cheating to look at porn? No, right?

So what's the difference between looking at porn and having cyber or phone sex? Nothing.

It's only cheating if there's physical interaction. Going on a date with someone else. Kissing, fondling, oral or sex.

Everything else is petty and stupid, and not cheating.

In my opinion even the thought of cheating is considered cheating. Limits need to be set, casual flirting is ok but you have to know when enough is enough

I say it is a form of cheating. And from my own experience, once things like that start, they only get worse. They have to move up a step and up a step to get the same rush from it.

DON'T MARRY HIM!

You'll be setting yourself up for disaster.

cheating is cheating. no matter if it is done by phone, email, letter or in person.
especially if it is something that he does not let his girlfriend know about.
makes you wonder what is he hiding for his lack of communication to his girlfriend.
