Just wondering if anyone has a basic idea or know of an online tool I can use to calculate this. I'm on a diet. I'm a vegetarian so I haven't really had to cut much out, I just started watching more of what I eat and cut my calorie intake down to about 1100-1500 a day depending. I exercise for 40 minutes a day - bicycling and crunches.

How much do you think I can lose in 2 months? My metabolism is pretty quick.

One pound of fat equals about 3500 calories. To maintain your weight you need to eat approx 15 times number of calories your body weight. If you weigh 120 lbs. you need 1800 calories to maintain your weight. With your exercise routine you may burn an additional 500 calories each day. Your daily "calorie deficit" could be as much as a thousand, which means that could lose two pounds every week. In two months you can expect to lose 15 lbs. Do make sure you get enough protein to avoid losing your muscle mass and support your workouts.

one girl is right... how much do you weigh now? The more you have to lose... the faster it can happen. Basic math really.... 1 pound of fat equates to 3,500 calories. Weight training is truely the way to go to keep weight off and start to make the best of your body.

Ek, firstly don't listen to the spammer with hoodia.

I think you're looking, realistically, at 25 pounds in two months by doing what you're doing.
