I believe that a person should have the choice to personally grow and use marijuana in their own homes. I do not believe that it should be legal to be sold or distributed but do think that the individual has a right to choose personal influences and indulgences.
Yet, of course this is only my own opinion.
Also, so you know, i do not condone or approve of smoking pot. In fact I haven't and never plan to smoke weed. As the great writer Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

Yes. Back in the late 70s we thought that it soon would be legal.
It really does not affect you as much as alcohol does.
I heard that the only reason it is illegal is because the government hasn't figured out a way to tax a weed.
I also heard that the reason medical marijuana is not more widespread is because the pharmaceutical lobby fights it because they can't profit off of it.
Both sound reasonable, given how our government really works.

Marijuana should be made legal all over the world but I don't see it happening. Especially in the US chances are very slim. It has to do with perverted puritan logic that allows gun and alcohol use (both more lethal) but considers marijuana a drug just like heroine or cocaine.

Why not, cigarettes are already much more addictive and they are legal. Alcohol is much more deadly when taken in excess.

marijuana is legal in distinct states with a prescription from a clinical specialist for particular (very few) documented wellbeing situations. this is now unlikely that you will be able to "strengthen" this kind of situations at will and also ensue to stay in between the legal states. discover yet in a distinct thanks to relax on the weekends. if marijuana were secure for mass public intake it ought to already be legal.

personally i think that people wouldn't do it as much if it was legal because they wouldn't think it was so cool. I don't smoke pot because i know a lot of people who got kicked out of school for it

No, only because it would probably become government regulated, weakened, genetically altered, overpriced, taxed, double taxed, age restricted, patented, copy writted, essentially owned by the government... that's not my weed.

I'm a fan of legalization, even though I don't partake myself. I don't see it happening anytime soon unfortunately.
