I also like the wings deep fried.
For the sauce, in a large sauce pan melt 1 stick of real butter.
Add 1 large or 2 small bottles of your favorite Louisiana hot sauce.
Add juice from 1 lemon
Add a little tobasco if you like. I use about 1/3 of a small bottle.
A couple splashes of worchestershire sauce.
1 tblsp vinegar
I also add about 6 oz of beer
Salt, pepper, garlic salt, natures seasoning.
Adjust the tobasco and black pepper for desired kick.
Bring the sauce to a boil while the wings are draining.
Then put the wings in the sauce and simmer for 15 or 20 minutes.

Like Mel I am a fan of the Butter and Franks method, but we do ours a little different.
we use a deep frier for the wings. Then in a sauce pan we melt butter and add Franks red Hot to taste then in a separate bowl we toss the wings in the sauce, this is a good way to ensure that they are cooked through because in a deep fryer when the Chicken floats its done.
a small variation on this sauce recipe is that my husband likes to make one with a small amount of brown sugar to take away some of the acidic taste of the Franks ( he thinks its too vinegary) Or add some Cajun season to the sauce for extra kick.
Hope that helps!!

My mom makes awesome hot wings!! Everyone I know says you need to deep fry them to get em to taste good but I disagree! First get yourself some frozen hot wings and throw all of them in a big bowl with a lot of franks red hot and put em in the fridge to thaw after they've marinated/thawed put em on a baking sheet in the oven at 350 and every 20 minutes or so turn em and baste them with more franks red hot until they're done. if you wanna fry em that's harder cuz you have to make sure the temp is right and all that good stuff but if you choose to do so just get your oil to 350 and dump your wing in and let em cook and in a bowl mix some franks red hot and melted butter and toss your fried wings in that.

first cut up your chicken wings removing the tips. Fry them in hot oil. In a mixing bowl pour in hot sauce. After you cook your wings you put them in the hot sauce and toss to coat well.
An alternative that is just as delicious, healthier for you and easier is to look for the shake and bake for buffalo wings. They are baked in the oven and whenever I made these everyone wanted to know the recipe. When I told them it was shake and bake they were surprised.

Well hot wings are deep fried. The sause is just butter (I use margine), hot sauce (I like franks), and paprika if you like. So deep fry the wings and set them aside on some papper towels to soak up the oil.
Put your butter and hot sauce in a frying pan and when it's good and hot add the wings and stir until they are coated. Thats it!

Depends if you like them fried or baked. . . . Buy the chicken wings pre-cut. . .If you like them fried, just dip them in flour, and then put them in hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes. . . Meanwhile, warm the hot sauce. When you take them out of the oil, just roll them in the sauce, and serve with blue cheese. . . those will be tasty and simple.
