Number One-
Whatever it is , get it in the mail FAST..!!! The last day to guarantee him getting anything was the 10th of December.
Number Two-
We don't have much over here in the way of 'normal things'. If he likes a certain TV show, get him the whole season on DVD. We prefer BattleStar Galactica and Stargate Atlantis here in Tikrit but you know him better than we do. Anything from HOOTERS goes a long way here.... especially the antenna flags or drink holders.
Number Three- wrap whatever it is in a simple plastic microwave safe plastic container so it wont get crushed enroute. Add in something personal, a picture in something very very dust proof.
and NUMBER FOUR
MAIL IT FAST....... December 10th was the last day for a guaranteed delivery by Xmas..
If it is small enough, consider at least priority mail.

You could always send him something to keep close to him from you. Here are a few suggestions: (a) Get a small pillow (travel pillow size) and sleep with it for a couple of weeks. Send it to him along with some sprayed on perfume. You could even get pictures sewn into the pillow, or write sweet notes on the pillow. That way at night, when he goes to sleep you will be on his "mind" in more than one way. (b) send him some sexy pictures of yourself, something that he knows is just for him, be careful though, because in a break up - these could always be used NOT in a good way!! (c) Send him a CD/message/pictures made just for him in a small device (MP3 player, CD player, etc). (d) find small "reminders" he could have with him - a hankie with sprayed on perfume/lipstick/etc, panties, and so-on.

Pictures, letters, momentous are always nice. Their nicer and easier to keep around. Alot of thieves around steal the good stuff. Buy him a PS3 take picture of you holding it and say your both waiting for him to get home :)

Portable DVD player and some dvds, dont send them in the original boxes (due to storage space) , open them and put them in a dvd (cd) album. and some headphones. nothing like being able to watch a movie in privacy once in a while.

I would suggest making him something small and sentimental. One of my friends from college sent me an annkle bracelet she made for me. It's too small for my ankle, and I can't wear it, but I keep it in my pocket. Unless he has no feelings, he'll appreciate something like that.

Keep it simple. Send him an AAFES gift card. He'll be able to go to the PX and get whatever he needs.
