I have my tragus pierced, and also the round part of my ear that is right above my ear lobe.

I currently have small hoops in each, however I am looking to replace them with a stud, but I don't know where or how to find one. All the studs I have seen have long stems and I don't think that would work, nor would it look right.

Is there a specific piece of jewelery that I should be looking for? If so, what is it called and where can I find it?

Thanks for the help!

Check your nearest body shop. They should have these really short(not to mention a pain in the rear end to put in)barbells used for eyebrows and nipple piercings. The shop should also have the different gages(sizes of the studs) available for order if they don't have them in stock. Cheers.

Go to a piering shop and ask them. A short labret stud is usually best for tragus piercings and a curved barbell for rooks (the curved bit above your ear).

Ask a local piercer if you are unsure of size and length that would be appropriate for the piercing. You should probably get straight or curved barbells, but its hard to tell what is best without seeing the area.

I suggest you look around www.bodyartforms.com and www.painfulpleasures.com to find types of jewelry you like and then go to your piercer for more information if need be.

Good luck.

after I had mine pierced I chosen the curved barbell. it truly is a lot a lot less annoying to sparkling than a ring. keep in concepts, it truly is in no way an excellent idea to initiate off with a ring for any piercing because it truly is extra painful to position on contained in the healing procedure and is way harder to sparkling. I truly am take position with purely the obtrusive curved barbell. And it seems large lovable
