I know this sounds stupid but I have just got a PS1 and I want to set it up. I have placed the lead into the ariel but the PS1 is not being picked up by the TV. I have also automatically configured the TV and it still does not pick up.
How do you set the PS1?

You plug it in... Match up the colors of the cables and plug the power in. Make sure your T.V. Is on video.

If I remember rightly there is a little switch on the small black box on the lead you plugged into the aerial socket, try switching it the other way, you then need to auto tune your tv until it picks up the signal

try it on a different telly to see if the PS1 is working

ALL RIGHT TAKE YOUR MANURE WIRE AND CONNECT O DFS LAB V HOLE BEHIND YOUR PS1 AND THEN CONNECT MANURE WIRE 45VES TO T.V THEN INSERT PS1 GAME CD TO ITS DRIVE SAYING CD(GH) WELL THAT WILL WORK.
