I would love to see it back again. The atmosphere in town on a Saturday lunchtime was electric. The camaraderie was superb, Even those who do not follow football really enjoy it.

Fudgie!!! I definitely do not like your new look (sorry!!!) You look like Dangermouse.

Scotland are also part of a group of countries that want 24 teams in the European Championship finals so maybe they are looking at a reduction in these fixtures. If you could persuade all 4 home countries to cut down on meaningless friendlies and play the tournament throughout the season then it would be a good idea. Another plus is that Wales now have the Millenium Stadium though how many would attend for a Northern Ireland game, also Rugby's interests would have to be taken into consideration. Any reason why Eire couldn't take part? Another country with a potentially large stadium. It's all a good argument but the wishes of the heavy artillery will prevail as usual.

England would win

We beat Northern Ireland 4-1 on agg last time in the group stages. We beat Wales home and away. We beat Scotland 2-1 on aggregate.

Just pointing out the facts.

now that Scotland want total Independence from England in a political sense,i think it would be a great idea to have an annual game against the Scot's,"if only to show them that they can`t play football"
