I was wondering... my dentists performed a tooth extraction and a bone graft on the same day. Now my insurance company is denying to cover it because they state the site should have had time to heal first before he bone grafting was done. Is this normal? Did my dentists screw up?

What do the insurers know? Your dentist did whats best so tell the insurers to contact him for confirmation!

My dentist (periodontist) did bone grafts during gum surgery, and immediately after an extraction. Ask your dentist about "customary" treatment, and if he/she knows of anything in the literature to back it up. That should satisfy the insurance company.

Its a classic extraction technique, perhaps less complicated it being a canines , and the situation the place the the the teeth replaced into they're going to placed the bone graft below the tissue and placed the stitches. it could have a similar feeling by using fact the different the teeth you had pulled out or possibly much less. solid success

sounds like it, call your dentist. remember, the statute of limitations for dental work is only 2 years. my dentist really screwed up my teeth, but by the time a found an attorney, my time was already up. good luck
