What should I do if theres this man that Im having trouble with.For example we used to have birthdays in our church what that means is that all the young teens gave 10 dollars so we could celebrate each young teens birthday but we had to stop because I didnt have money that day and the main point is that the man blamed it all on me.Now were doing secret santa and he told me in front of the young teens that If I would have the money to do it. And that just emberrased me and got me mad too.Now I dont want to go to church no more because people saw me crying and that was just more emberrased. What should I do???? Please help.

I am appalled that you have someone within the leadership of your Youth group to be so callous and thoughtless. As other posters have stated, talk to your parents or just contact the Pastor. This is totally uncalled for!
Frankly, if your church wishes to offer birthdays for all, they should provide everything no questions asked; if there are those that wish to make a contribution/donation for the birthdays fine, but completely voluntary.
Sweetheart, I am so very sorry that you had to run into a boob like this, I wish I could give you a hug and then go straighten him out for you.

1. Go and talk to this man and let him know that it hurt you (2 Timothy 2:23-26).
2. Talk with your youth pastor or senior pastor about it...OR you could have your dad or mom set up a meeting with you and the guy.
Hang in there! People will get you angry as you will also get people angry. Be patient with him, I am sure he is growing too.
I am a youth pastor and have gotten many great people angry by saying stupid things...but I am growing. I am glad they were patient with me.
Also, your faith should not be dependant on other Christians, you should follow Christ no matter how stupid we church people can be....thick skin, tender heart!

Go visit your local Church of Christ. What happened to you is wrong and against God's teachings completely.
We are never to make someone feel embarrassed or hurt because they do not have money.
Look in your phone book under CHURCHES and find the one that says The Church Of Christ,
I am a member of the Church of Christ in Coalmont Pennsylvania.
If you can not find one let me know and I will find one for you out of church directory.

Tell that man that he is not being very Christian. Tell him that he is supposed to bring light and life into the world, and that he apparently isn't very good at doing that. Use the scripture to show him how he is supposed to act according to his own beliefs. He can't possibly argue with the Bible if he is truly a Christian.

I would talk to your pastor, he does not need be involved in teaching a youth group. That was an awful thing to do.
