When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

He wants to be with you. But is not prepared to give up his relationship for you. Tell him you are not a fool and you are not prepared to play second fiddle to anyone.

You never know unless you give it a try. Just friends is a good start, but try not to let the physical attraction take over in the friendship and let it very quickly turn sexual.

Well if u ask me i would say the guy does not really luv u.. cause she already said tat he will love u if he's single.. tat means he's keepin u as an alternatif.. if he really luvs u he would leave the girl tat he's dating wif currently.. and another piece of advice becareful of guys when u hav a good job n earn good money.. they might jus go after ur money..

If he has only just started dating someone else I find the use of the phrase "if I was single"........that implies to me that he is not single so.......he is probably married or in a long term relationship, otherwise why use that turn of phrase?

ask him for a drink as mates, use that opportunity to be honest tell him how you feel and talk about what happened between you too. you never know what might happen good luck hunni xx

Talk to him about your feelings. Be honest with him. And make sure he is honest with you cuz you never know he might just want his girl and you on the side. So just tell him how you feel

I tihnk that means he wants to sh£g you with no strings. If he wanted you so badly then he could break up with this new girl. If he's not willing to do that then he isn't your ONE.
