I've never thought that. I usually will cancel an answer if I re-read the question and decide it's really not worth the time and effort it will take.

There have been many times I have typed up something or started typing it and thought, "it's just not worth it, or no one will read this" and canceled it.

I haven't counted them but usually I end up realizing that I am trying to address irrationality with reason and I just delete the answer, get out of Y/A and wonder why I decided to give up Heroin.

quite a few times now
i begin to ask a question and realise it may offend or hurt people ..
because it is usually a question in defense of something...
but i just delete it ... count to ten ... and get it out of my system without hurting anyone

I've only deleted one answer and that was because I didn't read the question properly.
