I use Milton's sterilising solution, used for sterilising baby milk bottles and teats. Just rinse before use.
But you must replace your brush regularly.
I asked my dentist he said that soaking in sterilising solution would be very effective and will not effect the brush.

You should really forget about cleaning a toothbrush and just change on a regular, say monthly, basis.

Soak in water and baking soda; boil in water; use an antibacterial soap and water. Any of the three.
Or get a new toothbrush.

No toothbrushes cannot be cleaned. You need to replace it every 3 months or sooner if you need to.

Baby sterilising solution? I have never thought of that, but should work quite well, but you should always replace tooth brushes regularly.

B.A.P.S.,
THE BRISTLES LOSE THEIR FIRMNESS WITH TIME, SO CLEANING THE BRUSH BY WHATEVER MEANS IS NOT PRACTICAL SINCE IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO MAINTAIN THE FIRMNESS OF THE BRISTLES (AND THEREFORE BRUSHING EFFECTIVENESS). THAT'S WHY BRUSHES SHOULD BE REPLACED EVERY 3 MONTHS.
