im tryin to burn a film onto cd using nero but the file too big, any ideas??

Cut ur video file in two or more parts by using splitter s/w. like AVI cutter and splitter or many more on the net.

Nero Vision 4 should compress it for you.
Also if the file is over 2Gs I don't think you'll be able to fit it on 700MB CD. The compressions levels over 50% come out extremely crappy and most of the DVD players can't even read them.

To start with a film will not go on a cd, it only holds 700mb,a dvd , yes,that holds 4.7 gb try dvdshrink

use a programme called dvd backup this cuts out all those unwanted trailers from the start which reduces it alot and allows you to copy over with no fuss

if you use nero it should ask if you want to compact it when you try to put on a dics put yes and your away good luck
