I can't find the oil flavoring anywhere i am trying to make suckers it's a simple recipe but it calls for oil flavoring so i bought the extracts instead will they work the same?

Yes, but you'll have to experiment some...

Most extracts do their...um...extracting using alcohol, which will boil off rapidly in the hot sugar. Since you are only going to use small amounts, I wouldn't think that vapor burns or fire are a real hazard, but getting the flavor 'right' may take a little "add a dash, check, add a dash, check" sort of thing.

The moisture contact (after the alcohol evaporates) in the extract may re-crystalize the sugar, Making the suckers grainy. You can find the oils on line for about $5.00 a bottle a drop goes along way.

I don't know about using extracts - but you can usually find the oils at a local pharmacy or at your local Wal-Mart in the arts department by that cake decorating stuff or you could try Michael's or Hobby Lobby - they usually carry those things.
