Am I hurting the three boxes of balls that I bought last month by leaving them in my (enclosed) garage, even though it is unheated and gets a little cold in there (not freezing or anything, just much colder than the heated parts of the house)?

The absolute best way to store them is at a temperture of absolute zero.or -273 celcius or close to it. this infact does work. it will even add yards to your drive. and keeps them.presserved. if you cant do that keep slightle warm little more then room temp. if they get hot they warp thus ruining ball flight.

I keep mine in the basement. I recently read from a ball manufacturer that leaving balls in the garage in the winter shouldn't cause too much damage, but leaving them in a hot garage or trunk can be bad for them.

I prefer to keep them from either temperature extreme.

Your not hurting them. My husband brings his in the house the night before he plays jsut to warm them up a little bit. He heard somewhere that it is better when they are at least room temp before playing. Not sure if it helps or not but guess it can;t hurt.
