People like to be re assured, nobody likes to be alone with any certian idea thinking they're crazy, so they turn to others for advice. Every circumstance is different, thats why there are so many could I be pregnant, am I pregnant posts. Yeah, they teach sexual ed in schools, but as far as Im concerned its a waste of a schools educational budget, so are the drug programs. They teach basics, things that are already common sense, there is no depth to these programs. Dont have sex, dont do drugs.... WOW I knew that, but why?... and thats where these programs are going terribly wrong, if the sex ed programs in schools today taught people anything about pregnancy ect, there wouldnt be any posts regaurding the matter.

People want to know if what they are feeling or experiencing is normal and if someone else in the same situation felt that way too.
It's not about being stupid. It's about support.
Some of the questions seem stupid but it's only because parents don't take the role of educator and teach their children what they need to know. Sex ed should be a refresher course, not the only course.

Well, this is the "pregnancy" section. No, most schools do not teach sex ed anymore. Atleast most private schools don't. That should be the parents responsibility.

Because people freak out when they think they may be pregnant.. even if they want to be, worse if they dont... and this might be the closest thing to a shoulder to cry on or some immediate advice that they have at the time... Its a seriously emotional moment when you find out, or highly suspect, that you are pregnant.
...but yeah.. some of the questions are just rediculous... GET A PREGNANCY TEST! Problem solved!

Maybe they are younger than you think, and i don't know what grade they start teaching sex ed. in school, but kids always like word of mouth, from other kids, they could ask each other anything and not feel ashamed.

some parents dont tell there kids anything ,and i think teaching kids about sex is to be done at home not in class rooms ,schools r for learning to prepare for yr future ,not how to have sex or make babes, remm. everyone has a problem and they need to vent or just ask a stranger.god bless u in yr state of madness

it would seem as though basic sex ed isnt taught anymore and that women have no common sense either. if you have sex you can get pregnant. ladies please go online and look up menstral cycles and learn all you can before having sex and use condoms. if you think your pregnant buy a test. if you had unprotected sex yesterday dont even ask its way to soon to tell think before you post we cant tell if your pregnant only you and your regular doctor can ask them
