I have been dating my girfriend for about 4 years and she can't tell her parents because they would disown her. This is the stupidest crap I've ever heard and it's all because of their culture, which is racist in my opinion. (my race and her's are purposlely with held I don't want any bias or partiality just the truth.)

Personally I do think it is stupid. If 2 people have feelings for one another, it shoouldn't matter what their families backgroud is. But unfortunately not all people look at it that way. After 4 yrs. though, you would think her family would give it a rest.

you don't have to agree with the culture, but you should try to understand/respect it..just because you think it's stupid doesn't mean it's necessarily wrong

yeah i dated white girls too , and cultures are always problem, we broke up recently.... it's beliefs you gotta be patient, love overcome everything
