I would personally just leave some breath mints, gum and an xmas card saying "merry christmas" from "your secret santa" on their desk without anyone seeing you. Or just leave the breath fixers...Im sure they will get the hint.

I think all these anonymous notes and emails are mean and cowardly and would only make for bad feelings on the job. Imagine yourself on the receiving end of this unkindness. Why do people enjoy ganging up on one person? Get the person aside and gently tell them they have a prob. Tell them you don't mean to upset them but, that you would want someone to tell you if you had that prob. It could be a bad tooth but, most likely it's a stomach prob. and the person might want to see a Dr. about it. It's prob. not bad hygene.

I'm pretty sure there is way you can. Do it from your pc @ home. Create a new user-name. Or type something up and leave it on their desk. I feel your pain. Bad breath is the worst thing to have to deal with from another human being. It actually makes me angry....having to deal with it from man or beast. But I often wonder how DON'T these people know that their breath reeks? They literally make me sick.

You should probably go to Human Resources and let them know. They will handle it from there. If you dont have an HR dept the only way to email without them knowing who sent it is to set up an account with Yahoo or AOL where your name does not show up in the address.
Good Luck, this is a sensetive issue.

Forget the anonymous email.
Next time you are working together, take out the Altoids. Pop one in your mouth and offer your coworker one. Keep doing this every time you are near the person.

Why don't you just write an anonymous letter and leave it on his/her desk, you can type it so that your handwriting does not give your identity away, better than email in my opinion. There is no need for bad hygiene in this day and age is there? Good Luck

Don't do it that way. Go to your supervisor who is the one responsible for how the staff gets along. It's the supervisor's job to correct annoying staff problems such as bad breath, gum snapping, laziness, etc.
If you've noticed this, others have too.

Are you a supervisor to this person? If not, then it's not your duty to tell someone of their bad breath. It could create unwanted tension. Talk privately with a supervisor and let them know that your coworker's breath is bad and ask if they might talk to them about it. I had a coworker with HORRIBLE breath, my manager spoke to him about it and we found out he has a condition that makes his breath bad. Offer him/her mints, gum, etc, but don't directly tell them. That's not your job. Good luck.

Yea, of course. Go to Yahoo and setup a new account. Use the email address there. You can even come up with a clever screen name like "yourbreathstinks."
