I think gay couples should be allowed to marry.
They feel as much love for their partners as any straight person would.
Plus, I think that they should have the right to be in each other's medical insurance, tax returns, immigration rights, taking decisions over the health of each other if something happens and the person is unable to take decisions on his/her own, just like any other couple. Not having that right is discriminatory.
I am straight, and I am married.
My husband says that they should be allowed to be miserable like everyone else. :-)

Marriage is a legal term. If you give gays the right to marry, then you are justifying what most people in the United States consider to be immoral with the law. Mormons were told to discontinue polygamy, even though they believed that it was fine, because the majority of the people in the country felt that it was immoral and didn't want the laws of the land to justify their actions.
It is one thing to believe that homosexuality is moral, or to be homosexual, but it is entirely another thing to make the law sanction it as moral.

If a person finds love regardless of what sex they are, they should be allowed to get married. I believe in God and I have read the Bible and for all the people who use the Bible as an excuse are retarded. Does everyone know that there is a story in the Bible of 2 young girls who get their father drunk and have sex with him with the intention of getting pregnant so their blood line wont die off! Some things just need to be overlooked and disgarded!

God made man and woman to be together.
Same-sex marriages are going against everything God created.
I think it's disgusting and gross.
What else can be said.
It's immoral, unnatural, not meant to be.
DON'T DO IT!!
you will have regrets

Why should I care one way or another about the sex of the person? If two people are willing to make a committment, who am I to say that it's wrong? It's not my place to force my religion on them with religious laws. Is *that* what Jesus would do?

some of you have interesting points... BUT... the Bible clearly states that it is wrong to have sex with others of the same sex just as it is wrong to have sex with animals. Sex is designed for a monogamous relationship between two people that are of different genders (male and female)

I think that anyone should be aloud to get married. Who cares? Just like it is no ones business what I do behind closed doors it's not my business what other people do behind their closed door.
