He got engaged a few months ago and we're getting married in February. He bought me this beautiful diamond wedding band as my engagement ring, which we picked out together.

So does he buy his own wedding ring?
Am i suppose to buy it for him?
Can give it to him as a christmas gift?
How expensive should it be?
I know he doesn't want diamonds, he wants a simple band, in a darker metal.

Your ring is very pretty. You should buy his wedding band. Don't give it to him until the day of the wedding. Spend as much as you want or can. Some places have layaway. Watch for sales. Save up for it. A little here, a little there...you'll have it paid for in no time!

You Buy The Band For Him.

No You Can't Give It As His Christmas Present Crazy.

Guys Rings Are Generally Really Cheap.

Under $800 Is Great Over $100 For Real Metal.

Darker Metal Try Titanium.

You (the bride) is responsible for buying the groom's wedding band. It would be better if you gave him something as a christmas gift since he is going to need it for the wedding and not before. His wedding' price is going to vary by size; the bigger it is, the more it will cost.If he wants a simple band in a darker metal maybe he would like titanium or tungsten.

Check out e-wedding bands for this as they have a really good
selection.

Good luck and congratulations!

I wouldn't give it as a gift because it's something u need not want and as far as who buys it go together and discuss your finaces and if u can afford. If the girl n parents have the money then they r the ones to pay for the wedding but now adays usually it's 50/50 If i where u i would buy it know questions asked.Try and get a matching mens one without diamonds and get the matching mens one to yours.U can usually get matching rings.I have also been told that the man buys his rings so maybe u might want to talk to your mom or his mom and ask if you should.

You buy his wedding band, and you sure as heck better not give it to him as a gift. That is for you to give to him at the wedding ceremony! Since you got such a lovely eternity band (which is usually for the 10th or 25th wedding anniversary by the way), plan on spending about the same for his. Just get a higher quality gold, since you say he doesn't want diamonds.

You are supposed to buy his ring. You should give it to him on your wedding day when you exchange vows. The price doesn't really matter, plain bands tend to be rather inexpensive. It's not a status symbol or anything, just a symbol that he's married.

You should go shopping for the wedding bands together...sometimes they match, but they don't have to. You will be buying his band and he will be buying yours! It doesn't have to work that way, but that is how it usually works...congrats!!
