Did you know that the hotdog you ate was from a pig that has to go through things such as having chunks of their skin ripped from their ears, bits of their teeth torn out, and their tails cut off , all without painkillers, or the pig who gets hooks jabbed iinto their eyes, mouths and rectum to drag them to the slaughter houses when they are too weak to move. And did you know that the fish fillet you ate came from a fish who was dragged from the ocean depths that undergo decompression that ruptures their bladders, pops out their eyes and pushes their stomachs through their mouths. This list goes on and on. The point is it is very sad it brought tears to my eyes when I found this out. Why would you still eatthese animals after knowing this.

It is not just fish and pigs its cows and chickens and any other animal you eat but I would have exceeded my limit if I were to include the atrocities that they go through.

Wow. You really buy into Peta's hype machine. But gullible people are what keep it going. Step outside of your small box and realize the world you live in. There is an order to things. While packing houses certainly may not have always been perfect you are very misinformed to think half of the stuff you write is even true.

Because its the food chain. I know that they go through terrible things, but what on earth would they do if we didnt eat them, is there any other real uses for them? Its the way of the world, and has been for a very long time. Plus its damn good!! And the previous answerer hit the nail on the head...BACON yum!!!

Sounds very cruel, Yes. But most dont know the actual harsh proceedures these animals go through. They just see, the pre-packaged, easy to cook hot dogs, canned tuna and fish sticks. If most saw personaly the way animals were killed, there would be more vegitarians. Keep up your warning of such abuse, and you may reach others who havent a clue about this.

Because it is part of the circle of life. Did you kow that they eat the grass where there are bodies buried underneath of people who were slaughtered or killed. Did you know that people are maimed and beaten and tortured everyday and when they become part of the earth the animals have food to survive. Yeah it's sad and many people do treat the animals badly but are people just not supposed to eat. Even plants are ripped from their roots and destroyed. I understand your concern but realistically it is all just a part of the circle of life.

People just detach themselves from what they are eating. If they don't think about it, it doesn't bother them. Most food today is so processed, that it's easy to forget what it really is. A breaded, fried chicken nugget does not resemble the bird it came from in any way. People like the taste of meat, so they force themselves to not think about how it got to them, because that is easier for them than changing the way they've eaten all their lives.
