How much would it cost to get a regular retainer for only two slightly misplaced front teeth? Is any of it covered?

Check with your insurance but most plans have a maximum ortho amount listed in the details of your plan. That means the insurance will pay up to that amount and the client is responsible for the rest. Ours was $1,500 just to give you an example (per person) so that would most definately cover a retainer and orthodontist visits. If you hav to misplaced teeth though I am wondering if head gear and a retainer might not be what they would recommend. Also our ortho had a monthly payment system set up for our portion of ortho treatment.

Retainers are used after you have had braces. I don't think they can work alone.
