Acneic scarring can be addressed and dramatically reduced in several ways: most available at your local medical spa. Chemical peels, which loosen intercellular bonds so hyperpigmentation can rise to the surface work, as well as Microdermabrasion which increases the cellular turnover rate, so scarring is lightened. Also, for dramatic scarring, you could consider IPL (Intensive Pulsed Light) which addresses the reds and browns in the skin. The heat of the light breaks down the pigmentation and brings it to the skin's surface, at which point the hyperpigmentation, or scarring, flakes off, much like a scab. When IPL is used in conjunction with Microdermabrasion the results are very impressive. Usually a series of four to six treatments is needed. Hope this helps!!!

Home remedies are cheap and effective. When you get apimple, pop it and get the puss out. Immediately apply lemon juice for 5 minutes on a cotton ball. Afterwards, let it dry. It should leave no scars. TO get rid of scars, depends what type of scar it left. If it isn't deep, you can use the lemon juice all over your face like a toner. Cucumber juice mixed with milk works as well. Do a steam facial every two weeks and apply your lemon juice or cucumber juice/milk. Then put avocado/honey on your face, rinse off. Skin looks amazing afterwards.

Cocoa butter. (The more pure it is, the better.) It helps reduce all kinds of scars. Try palmer's (the one in the jar) which you can get at any CVS or Walgreens, etc. Or, you can find pure cocoa butter at a health food store.
