nicolasraage You are an idiot!!

The DUI Laws are biased? How? Just because you "Think" you are able to drive under the influence means you can? Driving is a privilege, not a right!! You do not have a right to Drink & Drive!

I've seen too many DUI accidents to want the law to be changed! What you are doing is playing Russian Rullette with a 3,000 pound Bullet! I hope you don't get any more DUI's nicolasraage! Learn and Just don't DRINK AND DRIVE!!! Simple as that!! There is no excuse!!

I pray that you aren't so retarded as to think that making something illegal will stop it from going on!!! If that was the case, we would have no need for police, jails, courts etc.
Washington state is already a police state!!!! We have no entrapment laws. So they can do and/ say whatever they want, and still take you to jail. The cops here are so hardcore that when you're the victom, you're still treated like the criminal. It's really PHUKED up!!!
I don't think that driving drunk is alright, but at the same time, if you want to have your every movement dictated. And someone else leading you around by your balls, Stop suggesting stupid shuff like that!! How old are you? About 12, and living in a serious fantacy land. Can I get a ticket to that vacation??

Hey, you get it into legislation and I'll vote for it!
Drinking ruined my first marriage, about destroyed one of my children and caused much heartache in my family.
My ex has only been caught a couple times driving drunk out of the hundreds of times he has been out on the road.

God Bless!

Do any of you that say that the reason not to get rid of alcohol because of the past - the Prohibition - believe that it is possible that history may not repeat itself. I would like to think that we are a civilized, intelligent society that could build in deterrents to the organized crime or whatever else may arise. Maybe not, but I think that it is worth a try.....alcohol destroys!

That wouldn't work. There was a ban on drinking in the early 20th century and people just found ways to drink anyway.

Also, its not fair to punish everyone just because some people are irresponsible.

(The last time you got drunk was ten years ago?)

Before you were a drunk for about ten years.. did you go to school? Did you learn American History? If you didn't... I will let you know.. there was something called Prohibition from 1920-1933 and it was a horrible time in US history...there was a very violent profitable black market on alcohol... it drove up crime ten fold.. which is why they decided to legalize it back- it got horribly out of hand

that would be nice if this could happen. i had a 2 year old cousin killed in a car accident by a drunk driver. ofcourse the drunk driver survived.
THE GOVERNMENT WOULD NOT DO THAT BECAUSE THEY WOULD MAKE NO MONEY OFF OF DUI PEOPLE. U.S.A. IS ALL ABOUT THE DOLLARS.

Easier said than done. To much money in the beer industry that coats the hands of lobbiest on K street who in return pass on some bucks to the politicians that make those decisions. Common sense will never prevail in politics.

Oh you mean like Prohibition? After all, Prohibition never caused any lawlessness, did it?

Perhaps better to shoot drunk drivers at the roadside - that should reduce the number of deaths on the road caused by drunks

Just because some losers don't control themselves, its no reason that I should be deprived of alcohol. I enjoy a beer or a nice glass of wine. I don't abuse it. Why do people always assume that more government control is the answer. Usually it only causes more problems. Didn't you ever see the 'Untouchables', RE: prohibition.

here is an idea. How about you treat people as individuals, instead of the blanket policies that exist now.

I have better reaction time after a few beers than that 70 year old that is driving around sober, but you think I am more dangerous? What about that uncoordinated guy who takes 20 seconds to process his driving decisions in his mind? Is he ok to drive but not me after a couple of beers?

The DUI laws are biased.
