I had my last child at thirty. I am a mother of six. Three of my own and three step children. My youngest is 2 years old now. It is hard at my age. I own a small construction company and I have all those kids 14,11,10,9, 9, and 2. There are four boys and two girls. I am tired all the time and over worked. I wouldn't dare dream of having another. I would recommend not having one past the age of thirty.

That depends of wether the woman has had other children and how long ago it was. The chance of birth defect increases as the age of the mother goes up. New studies have proven that the age of the father also increases the chances. Did you know that in America 1 out of every 166 births, the child has autism?

I personally will not have kids over 30 but so many women these days are having kids in 30's and even low 40's.

When God decides some older parents are much wiser and more financially able to provide for their children then a 15 year old that is still a baby herself.

There are many things to consider, like how old will you be when they graduate high school, will you be able to put them through college if you retire? Every one is different.
