Anything that degrades a relationship is cheating. Isn't that simple?

What about an online relationship that's a secret. And it goes on for years though no sex is involved...that's still an affair. So it's possible for cheating to occur without it being physical.

There are different levels of cheating. One is physical and the other is mental. Yes, flirting with someone other than your woman/man is a form of cheating, a light one, but still cheating. Just like emotional abuse can be just as scarring as physical abuse, cheating can happen without ever being physcial.

No flirting is innocent, it doesn't mean you're attracted to the person, or are doing anything inapproriate. However, if you act on the flirting, and actually have it progress into something MORE than flirting, then yes, that's cheating.
Flirting is more like the first step towards cheating, but it itself is not.

Flirting is not cheating unless you wish you could go home with the person you're cheating with. Harmless flirting inludes saying small pickup lines to the waitress/waiter. But if you want to take some one else home then flirting should be considered cheating.

Yes it is. Just think of it this way, if you feel like it is fine to flirt with other people regardless of the fact that you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, just imagine if your significant other did the same. If the though of them flirting makes you upset then yes it is cheating.

Flirting is not cheating. Flirting with intentions of taking it to another level, if you are involved, married, is cheating.
Flirting iis completely natural, it not only helps our ego or self esteem but it gives you that wonderful feeling of innocence and confidence.
Its fun! Now if you take it to another level, like getting physical then yes its cheating.

It depends upon your intentions. If you are purposely making contact with someone b/c you like them and are interested then it might be considered being a little unfaithful. I guess just think about your intentions and also ask yourself how you would feel if your boyfriend were flirting with a girl the same way you flirt and if you don't feel like you would appreciate it, then don't do it.

Do you mean cheating if the person has a partner?
You need to be more specific!

If it is, then in a way, because their exposing themselves. I know a girl who flirts with me 24/7, and she reckons she loves her bf... as if! Its people like that you wanna watch out for

It depends on what its said and how far it goes. Everyone flirts to a degree. To interact with someone else in a pleasant manner is flirting. I think the line is crossed when there is physical contact or when there is explicit sexual content involved.

Not really but it is the first stage to begin cheating, because flirting means your interested and you like them and it might mean something different to them, then what it means to you and they y thing you like them and that your single so thats why its wrong to flirt with someone else.
