try going to the start button then to run which is at the bottom tof the start menu after you click run clear the box and type in regedit and it will take you to a list of sub-programs look under hkey software i think and look for the quick time prgram and hit the delete key and quick time should be gone you may have to restore the quick time program so that it is accessable then go to the regedit.

ya! I understand your problem my friend. In order to give rid of the Quicktime program completely out of your system you can follow the others' instruction for ever, but you will never get your problem solve.
I don't know whether you know about the ccleaner program or not but it is totally free from the website www.ccleaner.com. It is a remarkable invention by some smart dude.
Do this on your computer!
>go to www.ccleaner.com and click on the link "download ccleaner now......"
>do the installation
>once you are done right click on your Recycle bin incon and select "run ccleaner"
it will take care of the rest ..........
good luck
let me know if you have any other question

you in elementary words go with the places the position you want to get rid of the files on the left panel, and then click run. It receives rid of the files for you (only be confident to examine the "recycle bin" container so as that it receives rid of the files out of your recycle bin).

First of all - open your task manager and see if there are any quick time tasks running. Like qttask.exe or something like that. If it does - terminate the task, and try deleting the folder again.
If it's not running or you still can't delete the folder - download this tool:
http://filehippo.com/download_unlocker/
Install it (you don't have to install the agent, just the tool itself), then open the recycle bin, right click on the folder and hit unlock, or unlocker. Small window will pop up, pick the action (delete), and then hit ok. This should delete it. :)

see if quick time is running in the background, which it normally does. Go to Start - Run - type msconfig and go to the last options start up programs, and uncheck quicktime from there. and then uninstall again, and try to clear it from the recycle bin. If this doesn't work, then download ccleaner and run on your system, and from their tools options try to remove this programme.
Ok try it and good luck

Usually if you restart your computer, you can delete the file. When I try to get rid of unwanted folders from my computer and it won't let me delete it, I'll just try again later.
