Flirting is "promising without delivering", but it can get you in a situation where you can't turn back and you will HAVE to "deliver". THEN you will be cheating.

I say NO. We all flirt to some extent, at least I know that i do. And have never cheated because of it.

As long as the flirting is not the intended to be a precursor to becoming a sexual situation. I don't see a problem with it.

It would be wrong, if you are coming off as disrespectful to your s/o. whether they are present or not. Or If by flirting your intentions border what you think maybe you'd like to take to a cheating situation.

But I guess it depends on your own flirting Style.

Viewed differently by the sexes but flirting indeed can be the same as cheating if you know that your partner would not approve of how you were flirting.

Yes flirting is a form or cheating. It isn't really physical cheating, but it is psychological cheating (which is worse than physical in my opinion) As with porn, strip clubs, and anything else which takes you mind off your man/woman and turns it to someone else.

Unless you and your man like that sort of thing and watch it or go to the place together. Then I guess it really isn't so much cheating. lol.

Well you have to look at the words from both perspectives. If your not involved with someone, then flirting is ok. If your involved with someone and you flirt with SOMEONE ELSE then of course you've cheated. Flirting can lead to cheating as well if people are not careful.

Depends - if you are flirting, AND you'd follow through if given the chance, then you're no better than someone who actually cheats. If you are totally joking when you are flirting, that's different. If you are flirting because you want others to pursue you, to make yourself feel good, but wouldn't follow through, then you've got issues. If you flirt, and you lie about your status (in a relationship) then I'd dump your as* (if I were a guy).

No, but do not flirt with other guys in front of him. That would be mean. Flirting may not be cheating, but it is still wrong.

Depends on the relationship I guess. It's a trust thing. As long as the flirting is harmeless and doesn't lead to anything. Trust goes a long way as well.
