I wacthed the Taylor Ouma fight and I was shocked to see how bad Taylor looked in this fight I don,t know what Emanuel Stewart has done to this promissing fighter he has changed Taylors style there is no way in the world that Ouma should have lasted more than 8 rounds with Taylor . Why did Taylor have his hands down and back up the whole fight last I checked Twas not Ali who could knock a fighter out while moving backwards Taylor looked amiturish he was cocking his right had and he was hitting Ouma and still could not knock him out

I think Calzaghe would beat him if the fight happens soon. Taylor just never really progressed to the elite level. His athleticism has taken him far but it won't be enough against a big strong fast guy like Calzaghe. I think he loses a decison to Calzaghe.

If this fight happens it would be at Super Middle as Calzaghe would never make the Middleweight limit and i think this would make this into a very interesting fight. I am a big Calzaghe fan as i am British and i attend most of his fights so i am pretty biased towards the British fighters which i always admit when i answer on this site. I think Taylor would want to try and get inside and rough Joe up a bit because i think Taylor would know that Joe's reach advantage and fast handspeed would come into play if he let Joe use them. So i would say it would be another spoiling kind of fight for Taylor pretty much the same as how he beat B-Hop, the main factor in this fight though would be how Taylor carries the extra weight, if he doesnt tire towards the end of the fight he has a chance of picking up a points decision as i cant see him dropping Calzaghe, Joe has been in with big punchers and survived their shots and i wouldnt see Taylor as a big puncher. On the other hand if Taylor does tire towards the end which i think he might, i can see Joe picking him off at will just like Hopkins did in the last couple of rounds of their first and second fights. So to sum up i would say either a razor thin decision in Taylors favour if he dont tire and his athleticism hasnt really let him down yet or a late stoppage by Calzaghe if Taylor does tire towards the end of the fight.
One thing i would just add is that Taylor has just come of three great results against two definite Hall of famers in Winky and B-Hop for you to ridicule one of the best pound for pound boxers in the world for one bad day at the office is ridiculous, if he continues to fight poorly over a period of time then your comments would be fair enough but i just think he got his tactics wrong, he thought he would blow Ouma away early not realising that Ouma has a great chin and a big heart, thinking you can knock a guy out just because he is moving up in weight is an obvious mistake, Ouma didnt get where he was by hitting the floor that often, so i think maybe Jermain should of given him a bit more respect, if he had i think we would of seen a more convincing win by Taylor because his boxing skills way exceed Ouma's.

i think of this combat will take place mid-overdue next three hundred and sixty 5 days. Taylor has already reported it "close to impossible" for him to make a hundred and sixty (so i think of Ouma may well be his final combat at center) and that he needs to combat the superb accessible at 168, especially pointing out Joe. Joe's concentration precise now's to get some US recogniton (and money) and he has pronounced Taylor as a ability opponant, so I see this combat happening till now any combat with Kessler (it is basically too undesirable). i for my section experience Taylor handles Joe. i think of Taylor adapts good to 168 and he has 2 wins and draw against 2 slicker boxers than Calzaghe (the 1st Bhop replaced into qustionable, yet i assumed he gained the 2nd, and Im between people who theory he beat Wright). I see Taylor prevailing via a special yet unamimous decision, fantastically on condition that this combat wont ensue interior the united kingdom.
