I would confide in my mother. Your mother needs to set her up and catch her sneaking out or catch her in a lie. It's time for your mom to do some private detecting. Your mom shouldn't let on that you said anything. Your only looking out for your sis. Teens need guidance not cover ups. Your mom needs to open her eyes and get more involved.

If she's under 18, then hell yes! Tell your mom and make sure she doesn't get away with it...but also, reinforce that you're doing it only because you love and care for her. But you need to be strong in your decision, because it sounds like she will lash back at you. I would bet there is going to be a strong resentment towards you for a while.
Actually, on second thought...
Confront her directly first. Take her to lunch or to a movie and explain to her about your concerns and see if she might make the right decision based on what you tell her. Give her the chance to do the right thing after you advise her. If that doesn't work then bring in the big guns...aka mom!

Definitely tell your mom, your sister is going through the I am in control of myself phase, but actually she needs to get her butt kicked. Explain to her that if she does what she is supposed to do (go to school, get a diploma) then your mom will probably be a little more lenient towards her. If the guy is much older he is just trying to get in her pants. He will break her heart sooner or later, just hope that the later doesn't cause for any little additions for the 07

In most cases of life I tell others to mind their own business but I am assuming here your sister is young and still very foolish and could get herself into some serious unreversable situation. So I will say for sure yes! Tell your mom and so what if she gets angry with you, Believe me in due time she will thank you and be in a much better place than if you said nothing.

I think you should really tell you mother. It sounds to me as if your sister is trying to grow up to soon. She might hate you for telling your mother but in the long run she will thank you. So go with your gut feeling and do what you know is best. If not be prepared to become a AUNT really soon because the boyfriend sounds like a jerk and he will do anything to tear your family apart. So stay strong and SNITCH

If you think, she's hurting herself or the guy she's with his hurting her, you should definitely tell your mom. Your sister might not be too happy about it, but in the end, she'll see that you did it because you were worried that she would get hurt and because you love her. I'm sorry you have to be put in that position. Good luck.

Yes, this is your job as a little sister. Especially if you can't be right their in their faces all the time, in the same room with your sister and her boyfriend(s). Tell your parents. When you're older, your sister will probably thank you for it.

dude you should definitely tell your mother. i had the same incident and really it sucks because you are caught in the middle. even though your sister will be mad at you for a while she will get over it. my sister got over it and now everything is ok. just don't sit there because you will blame your self if something bad does happen and trust me its not a good feeling.

Please tell your mom.
If she is hanging around someone who is giving a bad influence around her, she will start being like that, using drugs, drinking and she will def. be pregnant and the baby's dad will be an A**hole. So please for the sake of the kid, tell someone to make her stop it or at least control it.
She is putting her education and her life away by hanging with someone who is abusive, if he is very abusive she could be even putting her life in danger, if you love her tell her, its for her own good.

Absolutely tell your mom because if anything bad ever happened to her, how would you feel about not telling? She may hate what you are about to do, but later in life she will love you for it.
