I install a wed accelator. First window that pops up says: C:\windows\regedit.exe Another program is currently using this file.
Then it says: Error
Could not excute the external program C:\windows\regedit.exe
What the heck is goin on and how do I fix it. This problem has never happened before.

when the program did work I would check the status of my connection and have found since the program is removed my connection get errors. This is the best accelator I have ever used.

Yeah, your web accelerator is trying to edit your registry, and something else is currently using it. My suggestion - uninstall the darn thing (web acc that is), since most of them don't work anyways and sometimes mess up your computer to the point where you can't connect to the net at all!

regedit is a program that edits the core part of windows, also know as the windows registry file, the reason your getting this error is bit hard to say could be caused by a damaged windows registry file, a firewall, an anti virus program etc..
i would advise closing down all programs and trying running again and see what happens.

with the info that you put in here which is nothing the only thing I can tell you is go to the site for the software that you installed and go to there support
