You may have found someone with whom to converse with on-line but to say that he loves you is a bit of a stretch do you not agree. Like you said you haven't even met each other so both could be somebody completely different in person. The chances are that you are wasting your time if you are trying to create a relationship with this fella and you should probably just get out and met a guy that lives a lot closer to you and someone that you can actually spend time with.

Love comes for no reason sometimes. But to realize it we need to meet and share our thoughts.

It's not only about travelling to India to see him. But, think if your love can be realized and converted to a married life? If it is possible and has a threshold confidence above 70% for each of you, then it's worth of meeting in person and marry.

I think you are an American and he is an Indian. Be sure of his qualifications and contacts and family values, culutural difference plays a major role.

Mostly asians are family type and males dominate females.
Just for your info. Not everyone. Also, Indian society is totally different from western.
Just take a chance to talk to him and get his idea of future.
Then talk to your friends and well wishers and deal with it.

Hope this helps.
Thanks

My sister met her fiance online.. We're from Illinois and he lives in Tennessee. She moved there three years ago. My current boyfriend (going on 8 months) lives in Florida. We've made numerous trips to see each other and I plan on moving there for college at the end of the summer.

I think that if it's something that you really want, it can work. it just takes alot of patience and trust. Don't let anyone tell you that it won't work because you're so far away. You just have to believe in the relationship enough.

it depends, is there a way you guys could get together some day???

i'm in the same prediciment your in, my ex-girlfriend and i had to break up since i was moving away and we found a long distance relationship pointless but we still highly keep in touch like we did when we were together.

if theres ever a day when you can get together (which applies to us) you don't necessiarily need to be a couple but you can highly aknowlege your feelings twords each other and if something better comes around so be it. if nothing comes around and you still feel for each other that be happy together. so basically keep your options open but still see what your future together could be

That isnt love, its just a fling.

Love is something more powerful. It takes time to develop, and its feeling passionate for someone for who they are inside and out.

Its not worth the trouble, long distance that is.

If you think you really love him, try to ask him to come over, or if you have the fund, go over and meet him.
You don't have to do anything but talk to him in person.
It really changes your mind. If you still think you are in love with him, come back, and than tell him that you want to continue the relationship and bring it to another stage or something...
You got to see him to deside.

Unless you have the funds to travel to India, you're pretty much wasting your time.
