NO -
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Romans 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

NO (not without witnesses)
Timothy I 5:1 Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren;
Timothy I 5:19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

This is a very difficult situation and cannot be answered easily. I feel that we have to realize that our spiritual leaders are sinners, too, and that all sins are equal in God's eyes.

I can understand why some people would not want to have anything to do with him. Because from our point of view, it would be hard not to see him as some sort of hypocrite, since he is technically living the same sin day after day. If he does repent for that sin, then he would be repenting in vain, because he would still be having those impure thoughts. But we do the same thing, we can repent for a sin and then do it again the next day. I think that it just appears to be a different situation, because it brings with it all the problems and controversy of homosexuality.

But if you don't feel comfortable attending his sermons, then you just probably switch churches -- but try to leave on good terms with the preacher. And if it is a priest, there is a somewhat obvious factor that can help you to sympathize with him: they are not allowed to marry. This can make things very difficult for him, depending on the strengths and weaknesses of the person. If he is one that cannot live easily without sexual gratification, then he may try to look for it in other places. But keep in mind that this is a reason -- not an excuse.

I would go to him Privately and Show him Romans 1:22-32
If He is a True Christian he will see the error of his ways, Homosexuality is a sin. If not I would take two or three other Christians with me and go again privately and we would all search the scriptures and help him repent,
If he still refuses to see the truth we go before the whole congregation and try to show him if he still can not or will not see the truth we have to dis communicate ourselves as God commands , BUT IF HE IS A TRUE CHRISTIAN HE WILL SEE THE TRUTH AND REPENT AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST WILL WASH AWAY HIS SINS and God will forgive him, as long as he turns away from that sin and does not continue in it.

Romans 3:23 1 John 1:25 Matthew 18:12 Luke chp. 15

He that is without sin, cast the first stone....Thy sins are forgiven........Go thy way and SIN NO MORE.

I don't attend religious crap!

Why would I care if some preacher or priest was light in the loafers, limp wristed, or took swings from the other side of the plate.

It wouldn't make the religion any less a fantasy.
God isn't real reguardless of anyones sexual preferance!

I wouldn't "rat him out" but I wouldn't attend anymore services at his church. The Scripture says that homosexuality is an abomination and that "corruption cannot put on incorruption", meaning that he can't profess to be a man of God offering direction to sinners and edification of the saints when there's "sin reigning in his mortal body".

No.. I won't. I only go to a church that teach the truth, the whole bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and not taking it out of context.

The issue of him being gay is only important if you plan to have sex with him. As far as sermons are concern it would make no difference.
