It really is funny that people seem to think that Christians hate science or believe that it is evil. This question shows your bias and ignorance of fact. I assume that you just equate all of science with evolutionary theory, which obviously a Christian disagrees with. As I Christian, I have many reasons to disagree with evolution and the leap of faith that it demands. But as a Christian, I don't disagree with the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, the Law of Gravity, or analgesics used to curb pain. Your question is infantile.

A scientist is talking with God and tells Him that science has come so far and made so many advances that we really don't even need Him anymore- heck we can even make a human.
God says, lets try it. The scientist said, you're on. They both gather up hand fulls of dirt. God says, nope- use your own dirt.

Where does it say that man should not use modern conveniences? It would only be a problem if these inventions were used in a negative way. i.e....nuclear fission/fusion used to destroy instead of power generation, overuse of fossil-fuel engines that pollute, etc...

I don't consider myself a "fundie" but no, science doesn't bother me. You have a very out-of-date, erroneous view of Christians. And you think we're the ones living in the Dark Ages?

They just say one of the two following things:
1) God made man who made computers and medicine.
or
2) Churches founded the first hospitals...yadda yadda yadda
They have more excuses than Bush has non-existant words.
