The way its going I dont. It will be considered offensive to the non-Christian minorities (of which in 500 years will no longer be the minority)

Its like the recent news article how companies are worried to allow Christmas decorations at the workplace incase it offends non-Christian employees.......HOWEVER its OK for them to wear a turban to work!! F**king pisses me off.

Rant over

500 years?

in 20 years parts of europe and the UK will be under Islamic rule.
We are the fastest growing religion in the world and will put an end to Xmas in the UK

Er... do you think there'll even be a UK in 500 years? I sincerely doubt it; look at what's happening to the planet. Either we'll all be underwater by then, or some maniac will have started nuclear war, and we'll become just a rock where the world went wrong. Based on that speculation, the question is interesting, but is also null and void.

Just call me Nostradamus... the eternal optimist! ;-)

I believe that before then, the Messianic redemption will be a fact. so I guess that if people still want to have Xmas (or any other celebration), they will be able do. But maybe by then (500 years from now) the world will not be ruled by human beings anymore?

Probably not, in the US *in schools* they are trying to take away the part where it talks about god in the pledge of allegance, it is definetaly gonna spread around the world. What is the point of Xmas if there is nothing to celebrate? hmm?
Anyways, Tata

As long as those wanting to be PC keep referring to CHRISTmas as Xmas, I suspect not! The bigger question is whether the U.K., or anywhere else for that matter, will still be here in 500 years?

Yeah I regarded for affordable flights round that element too to the united kingdom yet couldn't locate to any extent further less costly than that. i do not imagine the affordable structure flights are available in anymore or aren't to any extent further accessible at top circumstances.

No the world (if it is still around) will have moved on by then. Hopefully religious crap will be the minority and fake, commercialised events like xmas will hopefully be abolished!

In 500 years time, there'll still be Christmas, but there won't be a UK.

In the same way that God will exist whether we believe in him or not, so there will always be Christmas whether we celebrate it or not.
