Bonne means good
Joyeuse means joy
Annee is year.

It's simply as happy new year

Bonne means Good
and
Joyeuse means Happy.

The French often say "Bonne journée" as you depart from a store, say, and that means "Have a nice day" (something like that).

Literally, it means "Good night and make beautiful dreams." The equivalent expression in English would be "Good night and sweet dreams!" The use of the word 'fais' rather than 'faites' means that the person is speaking to one person that he/she knows fairly well.

Directly translated it would be 'good and happy year' basically what we mean when we say happy new year.

Good and joyful year, but we'd normally say "Happy New Year".
