The Christian bible insists that people FEAR God!
Given this bible also has this God killing children and Killing without a law for people to know they are wicked then this God is Evil.
Putting the two together one could conclude that Christians are to FEAR EVIL! FEAR THE EVIL GOD OF THE BIBLE!
Thank the Pink Monkey there is no God!
No need to fear anything!

NO WAY!! Anyone who states that he/she fears no evil is a damn fool! Evil is the absence of God,and if you aren't afraid of that then you're doomed to a life without love.
The agents of evil are a powerful force,we are not strong enough as a single force to fight off such a creature. A man or a women who thinks they are that strong is living in a world of delusions.
I fear evil. I do not want to cringe, cry, weep, or feel terrorized by it, but I do have a healthy respect for the ugly thing. I stay away from it as much as possible and I depend entirely on the Christ, our God, the Holy Spirit to deliver me from it.

I wouldn't say that I "fear no evil" I'm human, I still get scared (spiders . . . .YUCK!) But I can say, that even if I fear something, Jesus Christ is bigger than my fears, and He will overcome all evil in the world in the end. So I may be afraid, but it's not because my God is small! But I don't fear death. I fear the physical pain of death, but not death itself.

Of course I fear evil to some extent because I am still human. I do have faith that all will work out to the glory of God if I live my life according to His will and not mine.

I wished I had the faith to hold that as a permanent part of my spiritual life but I falter, my faith gets weak. Then there are times when I am walking very close to the Lord that I fear nothing.. It's a great feeling. I wished I could hold it always... Jim

I was raised Roman Catholic from way back in the 50's. I was taught God loves me, but I should fear Him, Mother Superior, Sister Mary Whatever and Father McTorment...oh, and my parents and all authority...and wasting paper and not dressing in my COMPLETE uniform including the saddle oxfords..and boys. Especially boys.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matt. 10:28)
