I'm Jewish...and don't mind getting gifts at the same time everyone else does in s social situation...or work situation...if you guys are close, she would be touched by your thoughtfulness to give it during Hanukkah...it does last eight days...so any one is good. if you are giving gifts to everyone at work...I'd give them at the same time...avoids complication.

Since you're celebrating your holiday, give her a gift when you'd give it to anyone else. If she were celebrating Hanukkah by giving you a gift, then she'd probably give it to you on Hanukkah :-) Either way, I'm sure she'll enjoy it - the fact that you thought to get her something is what matters - not the date.

Is she extremely serious about her religion? If she is just your typical jewish girl who celebrates Hanukkah when it comes around then just give her the present when you give everyone else their present. It will make the whole thing less awkward too.

Since Hanukah is 8 days, and starts at SUNSET on the 15th, I would give ALL gifts on the Friday before Xmas. THat way it is still Hanukah, and time appropriate for Xmas.

I would make an effort to give her hers during Hanukkah. Heck, you've got 8 days!

most people give all there gifts the same time, unless hanukah happens to fall really early. i'm sure your friend wouldn't mind getting her gift at the same time as everyone else.

I would definitely give her her present closer to Hanukkah, because it shows respect and integrity of her beliefs. Christmas isn't her holiday so you should give her her present on her holiday. It would mean a lot more to her.

The last day of Chanukah is Dec 23 this year. So you can probably do both at the same time.

Well Hanikkah Starts this Friday and lasts for eight days so as long as you give it during the eight days it fine. Either way are they going to tell you that its late and they wouln't accept it??!!! Good luck!
